The role of a pharmacist has always been significant and at times, critically important, and with the changing dynamics of the world, it’s now so more than ever. With the increasing population, workload, stress, and lack of time in spite of proper management, the quality of life is starting to decrease and the availability of doctors is also decreasing. In view of understanding its significance, the study and practice of such a novel profession of pharmacy, Dev Kumari Raja Ram (DKRR) Pharmacy Shikshan Sansthan started; 4-year Bachelor’s Course (B. Pharm.) and 2-year Diploma Course (D. Pharm.) with highly learned faculties who are to guide and teach the students as well as heavily equipped ultramodern laboratories to add a practical on-field perspective to the contemporary knowledge of the books. DKRR has started B. Pharm. course in the academic session 2019-20, with an annual intake of 60 students which was increased to 100 students, in the academic session 2020-21. However, the annual intake of D. Pharm. course remains 60 in the present academic session as well.
All the Pharmacy Courses (B. Pharm. & D. Pharm.) offered at DKRR are approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) & Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The B. Pharm. course of the institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow (College Code: 1070) and D. Pharm. course is affiliated to Board of Technical Education (BTE) Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow (College Code: 2102).
A pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution (approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act) shall also be considered to take admission directly in B. Pharm. 2nd year (Third semester) as lateral entry
